Lantern Light Mission
Our mission is to provide a place of peace, support, and encouragement to the working poor and homeless, in downtown New Orleans, as they rebuild their lives.
About this organization:
Lantern light provides services for the homeless and less fortunate. We provide identification and birth certificate services, notary services, immigration services, employment services, mail services, and prescription referral services. We also assist individuals with applying for social services such as food stamps and Medicaid. We operate a food bank for individuals living within the boundaries of Orleans Parish and we provide financial assistance for individuals who might have difficulty paying their rent, electricity bill, or water bill. We also serve a morning snacks at 8:00 am and lunch at 1:00 p.m.
